How will it begin? Your wedding reception entrance is the beginning of your life together. You might enter quietly and greet your guests as you arrive, or you might choose to choreograph your entrance and that of your wedding party. Philip and Soleil and the rest of their wedding party started things off with a bang, or should I say a “smack”?
You may choose to cut your cake as you enter or wait until after dinner. Following dinner, how do you engage your guests with the cake cutting, first dance, and other planned events?
When your DJ or band takes control and it’s time to dance, what tone do you want? Whether it’s quiet background music, an acoustic guitar, a swing trio, or a rockin’ band like Pleasure Groove, the music played during your reception will set the tone.
What will the overall feel of your reception be? Whatever you choose to do, planning is the key. Plan ahead with your musicians or DJ, your wedding party, and your wedding coordinator. A “good night” is waiting for you at Hermann Hill!
