Bridal Party Entrance, Wedding Reception Planning

As you think about your bridal party entrance when doing your wedding reception planning, consider this: we have seen many different approaches including choreographed dance routines, to one bride who insisted on being the first one to enter the room (with no one to welcome her).  We'll never do that one again!  Your wedding coordinator and her assistant will help you decide exactly how you want to organize your entrance just like she did everyone's entrance into the chapel. It is the coordinator’s job to maintain excellent communication with the DJ. A handwritten list of names won't be enough if you want the DJ to correctly pronounce them.  The coordinator will help with that too!

This is also an event that should not be rushed.  Since you and your wedding party may have spent the last 90 minutes with your ceremony and pictures, your time-line should allow for a restroom break, bottles of water, and a reminder of any special things the bridal party has planned once the reception starts. A few more words than just the names of your wedding party might be in order when your DJ does the introductions.
