Wedding Ceremony Planning, Unique Wedding

Hermann Hill takes care of all the wedding ceremony planning details.  I know that some brides simply "show up" on their wedding day, but I want to do more.  What personal touches can I add to my wedding to make it unique?

We have watched hundreds of brides wrestle with this question and so, allow us to offer the following suggestions for you to consider as you put the fine details in place to make your wedding personal to you.

  • The most important thing you have to offer is your time to the individuals most important to you as you plan for your wedding.   A simple note, phone call, lunch, or quality time spent prior to your wedding day will be treasured by the people with whom you share your time.
  • Keeping a big picture view means managing and utilizing the people around you that "want to help."  Allowing a friend to do a task you really wanted to do is a good thing.  Learning to let go can be difficult.
  • Avoid the last minute panic.  We frequently see brides a week prior to their wedding realize that they have cut back too far and attempt to solve this problem by adding a limo or something that further removes the bridal party from the very guests they need to host.
  • Pay attention to your fiancĂ©e.  This is not the time to become so egocentric that you scare him by your demands and rapidly changing moods.   Stay focused and positive.
